I love photographing people. It’s both fascinating and rewarding beginning a portrait or boudoir session with someone who feels camera shy, and quickly enabling them to have fun and enjoy the experience. Many of us (particularly women) have negative body image, and we tend to focus on our least favourite part, rather than celebrate the good bits! My mission is to give you a fabulous, fun experience and the confidence to feel good about all of you – from the inside out!
Hope to see you soon!
Frankly, I prefer to be behind the camera than in front of it. However it was essential that I subject myself to the experience of a boudoir shoot to have a real understanding of what I’m doing to and for you! Choosing pretty things to wear was fun – I knew I was going to be out of my comfort zone and that prospect made me both excited and a little nervous – what about the bulgy bits, I wished my legs were longer, my nose straighter…
Being made up by a professional make up artist was a wonderfully pampering experience, and the results – well, wow! Still me, but me at my most glamorous best! While initially nervous, I quickly began to really enjoy myself and at the end of it could happily have done it all over again! I felt liberated, womanly, and really rather luscious!
Not being in my twenties any more, I didn’t want to reveal too much – but as I always say – you don’t need to be naked to be sensual! It was a completely unique experience and I have to say that I can’t wait for you to experience it too!
I am happy to share a few of my images with you – and in fact am incredibly grateful to my clients who give me permission to share theirs – some even saying they are honoured to share them - so inspiring.
I used this one on a dating site and have to say that the many compliments I received were a huge morale and confidence boost at a low point in my life – the result? – well, that’s a story for another time!
